Install VPN99 with a Non-Russian Apple ID
How to Download VPN99 if You're Using the RU App Store
Due to Apple complying with Roskomnadzor (RKN) restrictions, the Russian App Store no longer allows access to certain apps like VPN99. Here’s a workaround that allows you to download it using a non-Russian Apple ID.
✅ Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Create a Non-Russian Apple ID
Go to Apple’s official account creation page:
Click “Create Your Apple ID.”
Fill out the form:
- Set your country or region to anywhere except Russia (e.g., United States, United Kingdom).
- Enter a valid email address, create a password, and fill in your security questions.
- Verify your email when prompted.
💡 You can skip adding a payment method during this process.
Step 2: Switch to the New Apple ID on the App Store
- Open the App Store on your iPhone, iPad or MacBook.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right corner.
- Scroll down and tap Sign Out.
- Sign in with your new, non-Russian Apple ID.
- Your App Store will now show apps available in the country you selected.
